6.5" Ceiling Loudspeaker w/ Multi-tap Transformer
The Control 26CT is a powerhouse ceiling speaker containing a coaxially mounted 6.5" woofer and 3/4" titanium-coated tweeter, able to deliver maximum sound level over a wide coverage area.
The Control 26CT includes a multitap transformer for a 70V or 100V line distribution system. Taps are selected with a rotary switch conveniently located on the front panel, but protected under the grille, so that the speaker does not have to be removed to adjust tap settings.
All JBL Control Contractor loudspeakers - both ceiling speakers and surface-mount models - are designed with a similar sonic signature, allowing for mixing and matching of the various models within an application, providing a similar tonal character throughout the entire listening area.
